This blogging thing...

What am I doing with a blog???
I'm not really sure. So far, it's a place for me
to ramble (I'm very good at that) and share some
of my ordinary, everyday thoughts and ideas. As time goes by,
I hope to add lots of cool stuff to this site. For now, I hope you'll check back often
and let me know you visited my shabby little world.

I would never want to get out of it!  I wish I knew where I saw this online so I could give credit.  Talk about a place to doze and daydream!

Happy Memorial Day

What a beautiful day, even if Florida seems to be burning up. Mixed in with the smells of neighbors cooking on the grill was the smell of the dry trees in the everglades burning up.
We had a good day though...lounging around the pool. I played with my new camera, we cooked out and finished up with smores. They are almost too sweet but there is something irresistible about them anyway. The girls felt like they were camping, so that was good!
