Marshmallow + Bunnies & Chicks =

PEEPS!!!

gotta love those little sugary peeps, right?
or are you one of those people who pretend not to like them,
as my husband does every year.
(although they do seem to disappear.  hmmm. . .)

well, on this i am totally honesty.
i love my peeps:)

i mean, they are amazing little things.
you can eat them, bake with them, decorate with them.
and they're so cheap.
cheap, cute, yummy. . . .
what more could you want, right?
and as this preschool church sign shows,
apparently i'm not alone:)

(it IS for 3-5 year olds so very cute:)

and they look so darn cute in an Easter basket.
so be warned. . . .even if you hate them, they will be in any basket i make
cause they're just so bright and fun.
you can throw them away. . .
or better yet, throw them MY way:)

i know you're holding your breath to see all the cool things you can do with them,
so let's take a look.

you can
DECORATE with peeps.

 how CUTE are these ideas?????

you can make "peep" kabobs. . . .
or "peep" pops!

anyone up for s'mores?

maybe you want your peeps dipped in Chocolate.

one bag of chocolate chips will dip about 20 peeps.
don't ask me how i know this:)

but the grand finale of peep ideas is this. . . .
a "peep" mobile

i tell you, some people are SOOOO creative!!!
i found most of these on pinterest and many were hard to track down.
however, a number of the ideas can be credited to

i almost forgot!
i've talked about how much i LOVE caramel popcorn.
have i mentioned how much i love
marshmallow popcorn?
i don't make it, because i would eat it.
all of it:)
now you can make marshmallow popcorn with PEEPS!

Yum, YUM!

well, my peeps. . . .
that's it for me today.

Summer Fun, Marshmallow Love and Photo Fun too...

hey friends, i'm back...
and getting ready for a GREAT summer!
(hey...it HAS to be better than last year, right?)
so.........
HAPPY SUMMER!
if you're looking for a few summer FUN ideas,
look no further than THIS:
 pretty cool, huh?
don't say I never gave you anything.
this poster could SAVE you this summer...hahaha

and have you heard about the 30 Days of Photo Fun?
check it out...

i'm giving it a try but if you know me, there might be a few days
i miss and have to catch up on photos, like today...
day 1 was actually yesterday:)

day 1-self portrait

day 2-favorite shoes
what can i say...i love wedge sandals...
and FLIP FLOPS!
who cares what they say on What NOT to Wear...
they don't live in Florida...
land of the flip-flop:)
why don't you join in?
i THINK the only rule is you can't use old photos...
because if we could, you KNOW I would have used an old photo
for my self portrait:)

lastly...i LOVE marshmallows.
peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches,
marshmallow topping, marshmallows in my cocoa,
plain marshmallows, cute marshmallows.
 do you get it?
I LOVE MARSHMALLOWS!!!
so i was really HAPPY (my word of the year:)
to find this sign...
 so CUTE:)

okay lovely friends,
start shooting photos and having some summer fun!
XOXOXOXO

Bunnies, Chicks and Eggs..

...cute ideas for EASTER!
wish I could say they were all MY ideas but...
you would know better, right? hahaha
good thing we have MARTHA and some incredibly talented people to
INSPIRE us!
one of my favorite memories from childhood was
coloring easter eggs.
even though it TOTALLY stunk up the house with vinegar...
and even though I HATED boiled eggs at the time:)
but it was tradition and it was FUN!
so here's to decorated easter eggs...
hmmm...eggs, yes.
shredded paper basket...probably not this year.
but COOL, huh?
okay, how EASY is this...
white eggs with glittery stickers ($1.00/pack at Walmart:)
          eggs tied with ribbon...
(even I can handle this one:)

one guess who colors eggs in similar shades and decorates
with pretty designs...
YEP...Martha:)

this is a GREAT farmhouse chic idea...
straight from the pages of Pottery Barn.
how simple to put letter stickers or stamps on plain white eggs!

 these are adorable...
but WAY beyond my knitting capabilities.
maybe some of you could make them.
and good news...they'll still be fresh NEXT year:)
how fun are these little guys?

and if you go to the dollar store and buy those cheap plastic eggs,
just look what you can make!
cute egg cookies...
now THIS looks good...and EASY!
and did I say TASTY?
you know, I have made and bought elaborately decorated cookies
through the years.
but sometimes I think they don't taste quite as yummy as they look.
just my own experience:)
but a simple sugar cookie recipe and easy frosting is all you need here.
so let's get baking!
unless, of course, you're super talented like
Bakerella...then you could make bunny cake pops!
or how about these ADORABLE bunny cupcakes...
so cute!  what do you think they used for the ears?
(just trying to figure it out so I can make some:)
OOPS...at least half of my blog post didn't come out so
all I can say is...BUMMER!!!
and stay tuned for part 2:)

XOXOXOX
